What is the Points Table of IPL 2021 and how does it work?
The IPL 2021 Points Table describes the performance of teams in league matches. In this, apart from the victory and defeat of all the teams, their net run rate is also assessed. In this, the points of the team are the highest, it is at 1 and the team with the lowest points comes at number 8. Once the points are equal, their order is decided based on the run rate of the team.
The top 4 teams in the IPL points table to qualify for the next round (playoffs). At the same time, the other teams are out. Currently, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Mumbai Indians are in the safe zone.

Points table rules:
- The team winning the match gets 2 points.
- If the match is canceled or without a result, both teams get 1-1 points.
- The team does not get any point in losing.
- Note: If the match is drawn, then its decision is decided by getting a super over. And 2 points are awarded to the winning team in the super over gets 2 points.
