IPL 2022 Sponsor: Tata Group will be the new sponsor of IPL:

This time not Vivo but Tata Group can get the rights of IPL 2022 sponsor. If sources are to be believed, Tata Group can sign a 2-year contract from BCCI for sponsorship of IPL for 670 crores.

Vivo will pay a total of Rs 454 crore to terminate the contract. Which will create a win-win situation for BCCI. From this deal, BCCI is estimated to earn a total of Rs 1124 crore for IPL 2022 and IPL 2023.

IPL NSE President Vrajesh Patel confirmed in a statement to PTI and said “Yes, Tata Group is coming as IPL title sponsor,”.

Why Vivo is giving up IPL sponsorship?

According to sources, Tata Group will pay BCCI Rs 547 crore for IPL 2022 sponsorship and Rs 577 crore for IPL 2023 sponsorship. BCCI will earn Rs 1124 crore in these two years.

At the same time, Vivo offered Rs 996 crore for IPL sponsorship for these two years. In which there was an offer of Rs 484 for the IPL 2022 sponsor and Rs 512 crore for the IPL 2023 sponsor.
